I don't know why but for the last two years every Cinco de Mayo has gone by without cookieing it! This year I had to make something, so here you have it. My very first Cinco de Mayo cookie. I don't own a frame this big, so I had to hand cut this 5 x 4 frame. I used red, green, white and yellow royal icing. The border is done with sanding sugar. It's not perfect but for it being my first cookie for Cinco de Mayo, it's not half bad !!
